Affiliate disclosure
Last updated: June 2, 2026
What affiliate links are
An affiliate link is a tracked link to a provider's website. If you click one of our affiliate links and then buy an eSIM plan, the provider pays Roampass a small commission as a thank-you for the referral. You pay exactly the same price you would have paid otherwise — there is no markup and no extra cost to you.
How to recognise our affiliate links
Outbound links to providers generally route through a
/go/ link and open in a new tab. They carry the standard
rel="sponsored nofollow" attributes that tell search engines
the link is monetised. Pages that contain affiliate links also show a
short disclosure like the one at the top of this page.
How this affects our recommendations — it doesn't
This is the part that matters most. Commission plays no role in how we score or rank providers. Different brands pay different commission rates, and some have negotiated higher rates with us — but our rankings are driven entirely by our published scoring methodology, which measures value to travellers.
When we choose to surface a brand we partner with, we label it clearly as a "Partner pick" in the interface, so you can always see the relationship and weigh it for yourself.
Why we use affiliate links at all
Independent research takes time, and affiliate commissions are what let us keep Roampass free to read, free of intrusive ads, and free from sponsored "reviews". If you find our guides useful, using our links is a no-cost way to support the work — and we're grateful when you do.
About prices and plans
Plan details and prices shown on Roampass are indicative examples to help you compare. They are not live quotes and may differ from what you see at checkout. Always confirm the current price on the provider's own site before buying.
